After a thorough discussion to understand your individual needs, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points on the body to promote healing, relaxation, and balance. Additional modalities such as massage, cupping, gua sha, heat therapy, and electrical stimulation are often added to the treatment to enhance the effect of acupuncture.

Joanne Chang L.Ac. earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Colorado. She is a Certified Massage Therapist through the American School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a focus on Shiatsu and Tui-Na bodywork.
